Linda T. Zoetermeer Netherlands Hello Claudia, I must say, this is really great!! I am the (proud) owner of a Sengal parrot (Poicephalus meyeri), named Tico. It's an African parrot, but a rather small one. He can speak a few words, he loves cheese so you hear all day "Tico Kaas!" (dutch for cheese). I look forward to a painting of a Meyer's parrot. Greetings from the Netherlands. Linda. 1/12/2006 5:18:43 PM
kathy k shelby twp, mich usa i just took a beautiful tour of your paintings. i am an aging artist [sometimes my hands shake a little] and i prefere landscapes, but because i do paint, i can both enjoy what you did, and know how hard it was to do it. i hope you sell all of your paintings. they look so real and deserve a 'good' home, just like the models. if i was to make a comment, it would be a small thing like the brownish background with the cockatiel. [rusty colored?]. the bird almost blended into the background. and there were a few others that almost blended in too much. again, i think you do fantastic paintings and i wish you success in all you paint. kathy 12/31/2005 12:33:07 AM

DeeDee Denton Texas USA I love your pictures of your parrots. I have a cockatiel named Gigit she is a gray. I use to have a pied named Dirty Bird she said about 20 words and whistled a lot of different tunes. I am looking for a picture of her to send you so you can put her up in your site. She died 2yrs ago from egg bound I miss her so much and so does Gigit. Acutally Dirty Bird I though for years was a he and not a she. Didn't find that out until the vet did a neecropsy on her and found out she had an egg stuck in her. What a shock that was to me and him. Dirty Bird was 13yrs old. Gigit is 6yrs old. Thanks for letting me tell you about my fethered friends. DeeDee 8/25/2005 1:20:52 PM

Pam C, (Zazu's Mom) Pittsburgh, Pa US Claudia is a wonderful artist and a very pleasant person to talk to and work with. I just received my painting of Zazu and we are thrilled with it - as are our guests, who've commented that it is an amazingly beautiful focal point of our dining room where it hangs above her cage (well out of her reach of course!). I look forward to working with Claudia again when my baby Timneh, Makeda, completes her first molt and I can capture her beautiful character in a photo so that Claudia can once again adorn our walls with her gorgeous artwork. Thanks Claudia! 6/24/2005 11:04:17 AM

Arlene Levin Ashford, CT United States I commissioned a portrait of my African Grey from Claudia. I received it yesterday, and it is beautiful, better than i could have imagined. It is amazing how she captured my Grey perfectly. Her expression, and the way she looks, could not be more perfect. If there was 100 paintings of African Grey's, I would know which painting was my Grey, Amanda. I am going to commission her to do all my birds. She is the greatest person to work with. She is also working on a portrait of the famous "Alex". She is donating his portrait to Dr. Pepperberg's fundraiser in April 2005. She is not only talented, but very generous. I am hoping she will put these portraits on her African Gallery webpage. Arlene Levin Pepperberg Lab Manager Brandeis University 1/16/2005 11:13:55 AM

After seeing some of her earlier paintings we and many other people convinced her to start again. Each one of her paintings just gets better and better. She paints from the heart because she truly loves exotic birds. She tries to capture their soul with each stroke of her brush and has done some of the best oil paintings I've seen. I can only imagine what her paintings will be like in the future as they improve with every canvas. I'm sure that Claudia will be a world renouned artist in the very near future.
